Aspire Public Schools Bay Area is partnering with Rivet School to launch the second cohort of our Pre-Teacher Residency Program.

About the program

Rivet School is a college built for real life. We pair students with a personal academic coach, help students stay on track through structured programming, provide test prep for the CBEST/CSET, offer supplemental career coaching and training, and provide resources like a laptop, co-working space, and more. As a part of the Pre-Teacher Residency Pilot Program you will receive the following supports:

  • Coaching: Receive support from a dedicated 1:1 Rivet coach to help you achieve your academic and career goals.
  • Exam prep: Free access to comprehensive materials and resources on Study.com to prepare for the CBEST & CSET exam
  • Self-paced scheduling: Earn course credits by completing projects online at your own pace. No tests, no grades.
  • Professional development : Attend monthly PD sessions to develop new skills and learn from your Aspire colleagues.
  • Peer community: Meet regularly with a cohort of Aspire staff who are also enrolled to study and collaborate.
  • Onramp to teaching: After earning your BA, start your path to a credential with Alder GSE!
