Nevada Teaching Corps (NTC) is partnering with Rivet School to launch a new Pathway to Teaching Program. You’ll continue working in your support staff position as you complete a Bachelor of Arts degree. Following graduation, you’ll enroll with NTC and start teaching full-time as a provisionally licensed educator in Clark County! About Nevada Teacher Corps

Nevada Teacher Corps partners with district and charter schools in the Las Vegas Valley to match program enrollees to teaching vacancies in high-need early childhood, elementary, and secondary math teaching positions as provisionally licensed educators. As participants in the one-year program, Fellows teach as they learn, completing standard licensure coursework and engaging in monthly professional learning directly applicable to their classroom experience. This takes place in a collaborative professional learning community with the support of program coaches and colleagues as well as school-based instructional support staff.

About Rivet School

Rivet School is a college built for real life. We pair students with a personal academic coach, help students stay on track through structured programming, provide test prep for the Praxis, offer supplemental career coaching and training, and provide resources like a laptop, co-working space, and more.

Coaching: Receive support from a dedicated 1:1 Rivet coach to help you achieve your academic and career goals.

Exam prep: Free access to comprehensive materials and resources on Study.com to prepare for the Praxis exam

Self-paced scheduling: Earn course credits by completing projects online at your own pace. No tests, no grades.

Peer community: Meet regularly with a cohort of Clark County staff who are also enrolled to study and collaborate.

Onramp to teaching: After earning your BA, start your path to a credential with NTC!
